Masuda Middle School Celebrated at Board Meeting for California Distinguished School Honor

Masuda administrators, teachers, and staff members attended the meeting to be honored for receiving this distinction for the 2024-2025 school year. This highly competitive award recognizes schools throughout the state for their outstanding educational programs and commitment to student success. Remarkably, this is the fourth time in Masuda’s history that the school has earned this title, solidifying its legacy of academic excellence.

The evening highlighted the dedicated leaders who have guided the school's success. Special congratulations were given to Mrs. Cara Robinson and Mrs. Jessica O’Malley for their exceptional leadership over the past two years. The district also extended deep gratitude to Dr. Ham and Mrs. Jara for their ongoing leadership, guidance, and unwavering love for the Masuda community.

The celebration also brought out local dignitaries. Special certificates of achievement were presented to the Masuda team by Zech Jauregui, District Representative on behalf of State Senator Tony Strickland, as well as from the office of U.S. Representative Derek T. Tran (CA-45).

Congratulations to the entire Masuda Middle School community, staff, students, and families, for continuing to set the bar high and showing what it truly means to be a California Distinguished School!Masuda California Distinguished School Board Meeting
