Assistant Principal's Message
Dear Monarch Family,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to another outstanding year at Masuda, and to introduce myself to our new Monarchs.
The first five years of my educational career with the Fountain Valley School District were spent here at Masuda in the capacity of Educational Specialist. During that time I earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Credential through Cal State Fullerton. I spent the last seven years working as an Educational Specialist at Talbert Middle School, an Assistant Principal at Fulton Middle School, and Assistant Principal at Masuda.
I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to come home and take on the role of Assistant Principal of Masuda Middle School. I am honored to be a part of this exemplary learning community where the dynamic combination of professional educators and dedicated parents ensures that all students reach their maximum potential and become lifelong learners.
The middle school years can be challenging to both students and parents alike. As the father of three children, the oldest of whom will be a 7th grader this year, I am keenly aware that the choices made during these years, both personal and academic, will have a profound effect on the type of citizens our students grow to be. I take seriously my responsibility to help shape and support our students by being a positive role model; by helping students learn from their mistakes; and by encouraging their innate curiosity and interests. I am committed to doing all I can to further this goal and I invite you to help make this the best year for all Monarchs.
I look forward to serving the students, parents, teachers, staff, and community of Masuda Middle School.
