Dear Monarch Family,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Masuda’s new Assistant Principal.
The first five years of my educational career with the Fountain Valley School District were spent here at Masuda in the capacity of Educational Specialist. During that time I earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Credential through Cal State Fullerton. I spent the last six years working as an Educational Specialist at Talbert Middle School and then as Assistant Principal at Fulton Middle School.
I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to come home and take on the role of Assistant Principal at Masuda Middle School. I am honored to once again be a part of this exemplary learning community where the dynamic combination of professional educators and dedicated parents ensures that all students reach their maximum potential and become lifelong learners.
The middle school years can be challenging to both students and parents alike. As the father of three children, the oldest of whom will be a 6th grader this year, I am keenly aware that the choices made during these years, both personal and academic, will have a profound effect on the type of citizens our students grow to be. I take seriously my responsibility to help shape and support our students by being a positive role model; by helping students learn from their mistakes; and by encouraging their innate curiosity and interests. I am committed to doing all I can to further this goal and I invite you to help make this the best year for all members of our community.
I look forward to serving the students, parents, teachers, staff, and community of Masuda Middle School.
