• 2:59 Masuda's Read Across America selection: They Called Us Enemy

  This month Masuda students are encouraged to check out our community read, They Called Us Enemy, a graphic novel by George Takei, aka Star Trek's Lieutenant Sulu. In the book, Takei recounts his experience as a child in an American internment camp during World War II.
  
  Students can easily access the ebook through the public library on Hoopla --they will need an Fountain Valley (OCPL) or Huntington Beach library card to check it out. If they don't have one, you can easily obtain an ecard online.

  I am eager to help students find reading materials that interest them this year! Right now and throughout the school year students are able to read ebooks by searching the Destiny Discover homepage. Ebooks can be found via the links provided on MackinVIA and Epic!, and I have provided links and tutorials to find resources at the public libraries as well. Please contact me for help anytime!!
