We were proud to recognize staff members reaching incredible milestones, ranging from their first 5 years all the way up to a remarkable 35 years of service. It is truly inspiring to see such long-term commitment to our FVSD community. Each person honored represents thousands of hours spent helping our students succeed and our campuses stay safe and welcoming.
The highlight of the afternoon was the emotional retiree recognition. Supervisors and principals took the stage to share personal stories and heartfelt thanks for each retiree's impact. As a token of our appreciation, each retiree was gifted a special bell to commemorate their time with us.
To close the ceremony, we followed a long-held FVSD tradition: the "ring-out." In unison, our retirees rang their bells to signify the end of their professional chapter and the start of a well-earned retirement. It was a beautiful way to celebrate their legacy and wish them the very best in their next adventure.
